Who stands a chance? Is it Ravi/Ajesh/Vijay/Ranjani/Renu/Ragini?Who is going to be the AirTel Super singer 2008?
Or is it all left to chance on the final day? But, is the program ever going to end? I thought it was about to end, some two months back ,but we seem to get newer and newer permutations and combinations of songs -- sad songs, happy songs, love songs, folk songs, classical songs, relationship songs, jolly songs ‘,moody’ songs ,hot songs, cold songs and what not!!!!!!!!!But, the final seems to be in the near horizon!Let us all wait and hope that no fresh creative additions like compositions of C.SJayaraman,SeerkazhiGovindarajan,M.S.Rajeswari,and long forgotten singers and dead veterans are not dug out now.Or, they can also start afresh from P.UChinnappa,S.V.Kittappa,M.K..Thayagarajar ,songs emoted by SivajiGanesan, hummed by GeminiGanesan,dance numbers and entertainment pieces of eternal favourite M.G.R-- Imagine how many possibilities and novel challenges can arise for these youngsters?It is after all TRP!!!
Rohit seems to have been quite wise in opting out under the pretext of ‘could not miss college.’ Poor Prasanna tried his best. .You may have lost your chance to be in the finals but rest assured Prasanna [if you happen to see my blog] that ‘Kumbakonam Prasanna’/Unnikrishnan’s Prassy is certainly in the hearts of your ‘Tamilnattu makkal’
Now, Vijay and Ragini seem to have been given a second chance .So, what is going to happen?
Who will emerge the winner of AirTel super singer 2008? Among the judges, my vote goes to UnniKrishnan. He is the gentlest of them all. He knows his subject, but his criticisms are always mindful of the sensitivity of the singer
